About the opportunity

As an Area Account Manager at Aliaxis, you will play a key role in driving demand for our Building & Industrial product portfolio and system solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Manage regional relationships with Tier 3 and select Tier 2 contractors to stay informed on project progress and customer purchase criteria.
  2. Engage and develop relationships with commercial distributors, contractors, and construction projects to uncover opportunities at various stages of build.
  3. Create and maintain a project pipeline providing future sales for the geographical area aligned with market sectors outlined in the sales strategy for Building and Industrial.
  4. Secure project specifications while optimising profitable solutions.
  5. Work with Technical Specification Consultants and Major Accounts Managers to coordinate activity from specified projects and downstream opportunities.

Requirements

  1. Experience in selling products and solutions within the construction industry, preferably for a manufacturer or distributor.
  2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to deliver product training confidently.
  3. Ability to identify new business opportunities and convert them into orders in line with expectations.
  4. Experience building solid relationships with key merchants, distributors, contractors within the region.
