Experience Designer

We are seeking an experienced Experience Designer to join our team at Advanced Resource Managers Ltd. As an Experience Designer, you will play a key role in delivering user-centric GDS discovery work, ensuring our deliverables are rooted in a deep understanding of users and their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user experience strategies for our products and services.
  • Plan and drive user-centric research plans to enhance the team's understanding of our features, products, or services.
  • Work with other disciplines to bring them 'on the journey' and build a rich understanding of user needs, combining insights from all disciplines to create a rich picture of a service and user behaviors.
  • Champion the user within cross-functional teams.
  • Create information gathering artifacts, facilitate workshops, and drive alignment on project goals and outputs.
  • Analyze findings from all types of research, including data, to generate meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Synthesize research findings using appropriate tools and work closely with cross-functional teams to translate them into user stories.
  • Visualize through diagramming, journey mapping, storyboarding, or information design to help others see the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Present actionable insights and learnings to stakeholders from related research.
Requirements:
  • Active security clearances preferably issued by the MoJ.
  • Experience with being part of a GDS service assessment.
  • Experience with the GDS design system (toolkit skills a bonus).
  • Experience managing relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience of working as a solo design resource in a cross-functional team.
