Job Title: Pre Litigation Fee Earner

We are seeking an experienced Pre Litigation Fee Earner to join our team at The FR Group. As a key member of our Road Traffic Accident Team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of MOJ Portal cases, including dealing with liability disputed matters and cases that have dropped from the portal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a caseload of MOJ Portal cases, including dealing with liability disputed matters and cases that have dropped from the portal.
  • Conducting investigations to determine the prospect of success of files.
  • Preparing files to be transferred to the Litigation Department once Court Proceedings are necessary.
  • Identifying potential Fundamental Dishonesty and bringing it to the attention of the appropriate supervisor.
Requirements:
  • At least 12-18 months of experience in a similar role, dealing with MOJ Portal cases.
  • Knowledge of credit hire, recovery, storage, and liability arguments.
  • Excellent IT skills to run case management systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a calm and methodical approach to work.
  • Proactive in running case loads and providing updates to clients.
