About the Role:

  • Provide overnight care and support as a Waking Night Support Worker
  • Assist with personal care tasks with empathy and sensitivity
  • Monitor well-being throughout the night and respond to any issues or emergencies
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
  • Administer medications as prescribed, following proper protocols
  • Provide updates and exchange information with other team members to ensure continuity of support

Requirements:

  • A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to support others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
  • Previous experience in support work is desirable but not essential
  • Availability to work waking night shifts is required, with flexibility to work daytime shifts during the training and induction period
  • Willingness to work across two or three different locations in Cambridgeshire in the future
