Job Title: Instrumentation, Control & Automation Engineering Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation, Control & Automation Engineering Specialist to join our Asset Delivery Maintenance Team at Yorkshire Water. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our advanced engineering assets, including instrumentation, electrical control systems, and automation equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop competence in Health, Safety, and Environmental management
- Carry out safe isolation to current IET regulations
- Perform fault finding techniques on control circuits up to PLC
- Produce maintenance reports
- Program PLCs, including Schneider, Allen Bradley, and Mitsubishi equipment
- Maintain, calibrate, and certify analytical instrumentation
- Fault finding and repair of Safety instrument Loops
- Work in accordance with Yorkshire Water Task Lists, Safe Working Procedures, and safe systems of work
Requirements:
- 5 GCSEs grades A-C or 4-9 including English, mathematics, and a Science subject
- A full UK driving licence
- An ability to pass a colour-blind assessment
- An ability to demonstrate an interest in Engineering and/or Programming through either work experience, a hobby, or a qualification
