Job Title: Senior Engineering Director

Location: London, UK

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineering Director to join our client's development team in London. As a key member of the technical leadership team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the roadmap of technical products and acting as the subject matter expert in Cloud Computing Technologies (including Azure) and the software development process.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex technical solutions, ensuring they meet the business requirements and are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have significant commercial experience within the Tech space, in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, and working experience with APIs. You should also possess strong leadership skills, including the ability to design complex technical solutions, negotiate with and influence other design parties, and build relationships at all levels, internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions, ensuring they meet the business requirements and are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Cloud Computing Technologies, providing guidance and support to the development team.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Develop and maintain the technical roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the company's strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • Significant commercial experience within the Tech space.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
  • Working experience with APIs.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to design complex technical solutions and negotiate with and influence other design parties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
