Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Development Officer to join our team at Highland. As a key member of our workforce development team, you will play a critical role in supporting the set-up and delivery of our Workforce for the Future Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sector Skills Intelligence: Provide high-quality sector skills intelligence and data that is tailored to the specific needs of the Highland region.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and present sector skills intelligence and data in a clear and accessible manner to various stakeholders, including pupils, parents, teachers, and other community members.
  3. Work-Based Learning Pathways: Review local sector skills provision and identify opportunities to design and implement new work-based learning pathways that meet the needs of our community.

As a Graduate Development Officer, you will work closely with our Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of our Workforce for the Future Portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our workforce and make a positive impact on the Highland community.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as project management or skills development.
  • No more than 2 years of experience since graduation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
