We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as a Teaching Assistant in a specialist school in Manchester. As a Psychology Graduate, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with SEN & SEMH needs.



About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with parents, carers, and teachers to help students make progress while supporting their wellbeing. You will build positive relationships with pupils, devise strategies to overcome barriers to learning, and provide class support, small group, and 1:1 sessions.



Requirements:

  • A warm and friendly nature to build positive relationships with pupils.
  • Either have completed or be working towards a qualification in Psychology.
  • Be passionate about supporting children with barriers to learning.
  • Have experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.


What We Offer:

We provide an excellent daily rate paid using the PAYE system, social and networking events, pension contributions, and CPD to help with your professional development.


Your daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role, and qualifications, which will be discussed at the point of registration.
