Employability Tutor Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Employability Tutor to join our team at North Hertfordshire College. As a leading educational institution, we are committed to providing high-quality learning experiences for our students and supporting their success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging training sessions to equip learners with basic employability skills.
  • Provide on-site competence assessment and support as needed.
  • Support learners in developing soft skills for workplace success.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment, addressing any risks or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Recognized Teaching Qualification is a must.
  • Assessment and/or verification qualifications (e.g., TAQA) is a must.
  • Relevant occupational competence through qualifications and/or job experience is essential.
  • GCSE A*-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Strong observation and coaching skills to guide learners.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with employers and learners.
