About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our technology division, you will be responsible for managing the planning, installation, configuration, and operation of Azure cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage the planning, installation, configuration, and operation of Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Ensure IT disaster recovery and business continuity by conducting risk assessments and developing recovery plans.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Container and CI/CD Management: Configure and manage Containers, CI/CD, Automation, Functions, Serverless, API management, Virtual machines, networks, and security to ensure efficient deployment and management of cloud resources.
  • Design and Development: Design services/servers within Azure Cloud and perform fault analysis and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Technical Leadership: Act as a technical design authority for projects and mentor team members to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Innovation and Development: Lead innovation, research, and development, including proof of concepts, to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain up-to-date IT documentation and contribute to the knowledge base to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
  • Technology Roadmap Alignment: Align technology roadmaps with strategic vision to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Cloud Standards and Best Practices: Develop and maintain Cloud standards and best practices to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with IT Ops for infrastructure projects and technical support to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Azure Infrastructure as Code, SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS: Proficiency in Azure Infrastructure as Code, SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • DevOps Experience: DevOps experience with ADO, GitHub, and Terraform to ensure efficient deployment and management of cloud resources.
  • Extensive Azure Provisioning and Administration: Extensive Azure provisioning and administration experience to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Networking and Firewall Expertise: Networking and firewall expertise, including Azure firewall, to ensure secure and scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • Azure AD/Azure Active Directory: Hands-on experience with Azure AD/Azure Active Directory to ensure secure and efficient authentication and authorization.
  • Designing Secure, Scalable, and Resilient Azure Platforms: Knowledge of Azure security risks and mitigation to ensure secure and scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • Windows Server Experience: Experience with Windows Server to ensure seamless integration with Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Quick Learner with Strong Ownership: Quick learner with strong ownership of issues to ensure timely resolution and delivery of services.
  • Mentoring and Team Collaboration Skills: Mentoring and team collaboration skills to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and team alignment.
