Construction Manager - Residential (Highrise)

Birmingham-based RCM Ltd is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead high-rise residential projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the full life cycle of high-rise residential projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  2. Collaborate closely with commercial and development teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  3. Oversee project planning, design, and delivery, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
  4. Ensure all stages of the construction process meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
  5. Develop and implement rigorous project management processes to drive success.
  6. Regularly update key stakeholders on project progress, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  7. Identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Construction Manager in high-rise residential developments (preferably over 20 stories).
  2. In-depth knowledge of the Building Control regime for higher-risk buildings (Gateway process).
  3. Track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  4. Relevant qualifications in construction, project management, or a related field.
