Purosearch Ltd is seeking a skilled Deputy Care Manager to join our team in a small provider with high standards of care. The home specializes in Residential Dementia care for the elderly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Registered Home Manager in achieving full regulatory compliance with all agencies and prepare for inspections.
  2. Take the lead in the absence of the Registered Home Manager for regulatory and compliance requirements, send necessary notifications to CQC, and promote Duty of Candour.
  3. Ensure the service provision meets the CQC fundamental standards and is safe, caring, effective, responsive, and well-led.

Requirements:

  1. Experience of dementia care
  2. Thorough and in-depth knowledge of medication management from ordering to change-over
  3. Qualification to Level 3 and a willingness to work towards level 4/5
  4. Experience as a deputy/unit manager with established work history within care homes, or an ambitious senior care assistant looking to progress
  5. Willingness to support and mentor staff to achieve high standards
  6. Ability to participate in the on-call rota and work flexibly to meet the needs of the business
