Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Negotiation Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Support and lead negotiations with third-party vendors and customers to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of contract template standardization and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Global Legal team, Commercial Licensing and Sales teams, IP and Procurement to ensure seamless contract management and execution.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on their roles in contract negotiations and obligations under contracts and legal requirements.
Requirements
  • Law degree in a UK jurisdiction or at least three years of experience in a contracts-focused role.
  • Strong working knowledge of contract law and commercial awareness.
  • Experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence business partners.
  • Fluent in English and ability to handle high-volume workloads effectively and efficiently.
