We are partnering with a leading private equity firm that focuses on mid-market investments. This firm is seeking an ESG professional to join their team in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a rapidly growing organization and gain experience in ESG and sustainability across the firm and its portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the firm's ESG approach and performance reviews
- Assist with ESG reviews of existing portfolio companies and define key data and performance measurement
- Collaborate with deal teams and portfolio companies to ensure ESG implementation and value creation
- Support the team on external ESG and sustainability-related reporting
Requirements
- Strong understanding of ESG and sustainability principles
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Desire to learn technical skills in the ESG sector
- Confidence in communicating ideas and contributing to a team
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with data
- Knowledge of ESG issues and regulatory developments
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for sustainability topics
- Experience in sustainability or ESG gained through consultancy or an in-house position
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate data clearly
