**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Springfield Surgery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As a key member of our clinical team, you will work closely with GPs, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

The role involves providing general nursing care, including wound management, vaccinations, and phlebotomy, as well as performing health promotion and screening activities.

Additionally, you will support the management of long-term conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, and contribute to the development of care plans and practice protocols.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide general nursing care, including wound management, vaccinations, and phlebotomy
  • Perform health promotion and screening activities, such as cervical cytology and smoking cessation
  • Support the management of long-term conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
  • Contribute to the development of care plans and practice protocols

**Requirements:**

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Post-basic qualifications in primary care related nursing practice, including chronic disease management
  • Experience in cervical cytology and immunisations
  • Good working knowledge of infection control procedures, protocols, and guidance
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice in primary care, including health promotion strategies, self-care, and prevention
