Technical Program Manager, Region Services Lead

AWS Region Services is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to lead the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. As a member of the UC organization, you will support customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements, document functional and design specifications, and define User Acceptance Criteria for testing software.
- Contribute to cross-functional teams, assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, and anticipate and resolve bottlenecks.
- Manage repair requests in a high-volume environment and respond to high-severity events.
- Present to Sr. Leadership on a regular basis, demonstrating the ability to synthesize problems and solutions.
About the Team:
The Region Service provides Operational Solutions and Cleared Support for services within our Regions. We provide 'hands-on keyboard' support to our service teams by deploying changes into isolated regions, monitoring the results, and reporting any issues that are observed.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
