About the Role

As the Sector Lead for the Consumer Sector at Irwin Mitchell, you will have responsibility for creating and leading on the delivery of a Consumer Sector growth strategy for our Corporates and Institutions Audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a dynamic growth strategy for the Consumer Sector, leading a multi-disciplinary sector team of lawyers and business development professionals to deliver that strategy.
  • Build Irwin Mitchell's profile in the Consumer Sector through strategic business development initiatives.
  • Share industry insights and work with colleagues across the group to support, strengthen, and develop our Consumer Sector proposition.
  • Identify targets and develop opportunities to win new sector clients and expand existing client relationships.
  • Inform M&A and lateral growth strategies to ensure we have the right skill set to deliver the Consumer Sector growth strategy.
Requirements
  • An experienced client-facing lawyer with a strong track record of driving sales with new and established clients in the applicable sector group.
  • A strategic business builder with an ambitious and innovative mindset, able to lead and motivate a team to deliver business growth.
  • Exceptional insight and network within the relevant sector, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends.
  • Proactive in the market to develop and build opportunities to attract and win new clients.
