About the Role:

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking an experienced Outreach Tutor to provide face-to-face provision to students with complex needs. The successful candidate will work closely with County Councils and Schools to deliver one-to-one tutoring and support students with a range of additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver differentiated National Curriculum core subjects to students with complex needs
  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to support students with challenging needs
  • Work collaboratively with schools and County Councils to provide high-quality tutoring and support
  • Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Background teaching in English, Maths, Science, or SEN classes ranging from KS1-KS5
  • QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects
  • Experience working with students with ASD, EBD, SEMH, and associated complex needs
  • Two years' previous experience working within a UK school
