About the Role:

As a Senior Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects, developing and maintaining client relationships, and providing expert advice on heritage and archaeological matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Provide expert advice on heritage and archaeological matters, including desk-based assessments, environmental statement chapters, setting studies, and heritage statements.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and success.
  • Contribute to the development of the consultancy service, generating new business opportunities and winning new work.
  • Participate in training and development initiatives, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality consultancy services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide expert advice on complex heritage and archaeological matters.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff members.
