Senior Heritage Consultant/Principal Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heritage Consultant/Principal Consultant to join our team at Archaeological Research Services Ltd. As a key member of our Consultancy team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality consultancy services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Heritage Consultants, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored consultancy services.
- Conduct desk-based assessments, environmental statement chapters, and other consultancy work, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Supervise staff and oversee the initiation and delivery of projects, ensuring accountability and quality assurance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, curators, and other stakeholders, promoting the company's services and expertise.
- Contribute to the development of the consultancy service, generating new business opportunities and winning new work.
- Provide training and support to team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality consultancy services.
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality consultancy services.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Proficiency in CAD and GIS software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
