About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASC Support Worker to join our team at an outstanding school in the London borough of Barnet. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special needs, providing individualized care and assistance to ensure their educational and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to children with ASC, promoting their independence and self-confidence
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Experience working with children with special needs, preferably in an educational setting
  • Basic knowledge of ASC and its impact on individuals
