Forensic Psychiatrist Job Opportunity

We are a dynamic organization dedicated to delivering high-quality adult and child social care assessments. Due to an increase in enquiries, we are seeking experienced consultant psychiatrists to join our panel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mental health assessments, collaborating with BIA's for DoLS assessments
  • Identify specific risks and potential outcomes of risk behaviour
  • Complete Forensic Risk Assessments for adults or children, depending on specialist area
  • Ensure all assessments comply with the MCA and relevant codes of practice

Requirements:

  • Full enhanced DBS registration with the update service
  • Registration with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
  • Highly computer literate
  • UK driving license

Salary and Location:

The salary is estimated at £70 per hour, with £40 per hour travel time and £190 for Section 12 Assessments. The work is primarily based in Essex, with occasional travel to other locations in the UK.
