Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Health Club Leisure Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the safety and well-being of our members, and contributing to the overall success of our Health Club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Deliver a friendly and welcoming experience for all members and their guests, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Lifeguarding: Safeguard our members and guests by ensuring the pool area is safe and secure, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Facility Management: Assist with the setup and dismantling of equipment, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring all facilities are in good working order.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Training and Development: Participate in regular training sessions to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you are equipped to provide the highest level of service.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NPLQ qualification (or willingness to obtain) and first aid certification.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a leisure or fitness environment.

  • Overtime: Paid at the rate of time and a half.
