About the Role

We are looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Cost Manager to support our exciting growth plans in the Southwest region. As a Senior Cost Manager, you will provide a comprehensive, accurate and value driven service for large, high profile infrastructure projects within the water sector.

The successful candidate will lead and deliver all aspects of cost management throughout the project lifecycle from initial inception / business case through to completion / commissioning. This includes feasibility estimates, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, value engineering and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver cost management services for large scale infrastructure projects;
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with clients;
  • Actively support the internal team and manage more junior staff;
Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification;
  • Accredited MRICS (or working towards membership);
  • Significant experience and strong track record in the Cost Management/Quantity Surveying field;
  • Good working knowledge of NEC4 suite of contracts;
  • Experience of undertaking cost/commercial management as part of integrated, multi-organisation teams;
  • Ability to identify and influence key client stakeholders.

We offer a highly competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 25 days' annual leave, company pension scheme, private medical insurance and one paid annual professional institution membership fee.
