Job Description:

We are seeking a Graduate Quality Engineer to join our team and assist with day-to-day activities on major UK infrastructure projects. As a Graduate Quality Engineer, you will work under the supervision of Quality Managers and contribute to the achievement of Health and Safety in accordance with company policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in writing and reviewing quality documentation, including Quality Management Plans and Inspection and Test Plans
  • Support the development of briefing and communication strategies to ensure quality plans and important information are understood and operated by all employees and subcontractors
  • Monitor compliance of construction works on site and relevant documentation in accordance with Works Information, Ferrovial standards, and relevant Technical Standards
  • Carry out reports for the senior Quality team
  • Support the Project Quality Manager with investigations and audits
  • Advise on quality requirements and best practice, promoting a continuous improvement culture across the site team and Innovation
  • Promote customer requirements throughout the business
  • Adopt and promote Ferrovial Construction UK Vision and Values
  • Support Ferrovial Construction Environmental and Sustainability policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at a variety of levels
  • Excellent written and oral English language
  • Degree or Masters (All disciplines considered)
  • Motivated to learn and add value to the team, the role, and the Graduate programme
  • Analytical thinker who enjoys problem solving
  • A proven team player who can effectively work with others
  • Enjoys working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Proactive approach to working and learning
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of the industry
  • Familiar with all Microsoft packages
  • Technical Knowledge (Civil, Mechanical and / or Electrical)
