Richmond and Wandsworth Councils are seeking a talented Graduate Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will be working alongside the M&E Building Services team while studying for your professional qualification.

Job Title: Graduate Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a graduate in electrical engineering to join our team. The role is a fixed-term contract, and the duration will depend on the course of study undertaken. We are ideally looking for someone who already has a qualification or is already studying.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Successfully undertake a training program to gain a relevant qualification.
  • Support the Design Service team in quality assurance for ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, write reports, presentations, and minute meetings.
  • Take on your own projects with the support of senior engineers as your knowledge increases.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering and a commitment to this area of study or experience in electrical engineering.
  • A professional and can-do enthusiastic attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational abilities to balance different tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think flexibly and innovatively.
  • Able to present opinions clearly and succinctly both on paper and in person.
