We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the University of Reading. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the university's beautiful campuses, including the Whiteknights, London Road, and Greenlands sites.

As a Grounds Maintenance Specialist, you will be working in a variety of environments, including meadows, woodlands, and lakeside areas. You will be responsible for undertaking all lifting, machine use, and manual tasks associated with the role, as well as working outside all year in a range of weather conditions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid UK driving license, GCSE or equivalent pass grade in English Language, and previous experience of carrying out grounds maintenance tasks, preferably in a commercial setting. You will also need to have a willingness to learn and actively participate in any training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving license
