We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist/Psychological Therapist to join our Sunderland South community treatment team, providing specialist assessments and psychological therapy to individuals with complex mental health difficulties.

This is a 15-month fixed term/secondment opportunity to cover maternity leave, offering a chance to work closely with a well-established multidisciplinary team and contribute to our extensive training programme.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your own Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and work with a supportive network of clinical and wider expertise.

The main duties of the role involve providing one-to-one assessments, therapy, and group interventions, with opportunities to engage in supervision and training depending on need and experience.

You will receive regular supervision and the chance to engage in ongoing continuing professional development, making this an ideal opportunity for a motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist/Psychological Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialist assessments and psychological therapy to individuals with complex mental health difficulties
  • Working closely with a well-established multidisciplinary team
  • Contributing to our extensive training programme
  • Developing your own Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Engaging in supervision and training depending on need and experience
