We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Oswald House in Lancashire. Our specialist residential service provides rehabilitation, care, and support to vulnerable women with complex mental health issues.

Oswald House is a purposefully small service with capacity for up to 9 female residents, allowing for a calm and relaxing environment. Our large lounge area enables residents to convene and interact in a communal setting during their recovery.

We encourage residents to cultivate plant life in our garden, learning new skills in the process. Our location is close to local amenities and has multiple transport links, allowing for supervised outings.

As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) at £11.68 per hour, with a salary of £22,838 per annum. You will work long days, including evenings and weekends.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building relationships with the people we support, which are open and two-way
  • Supporting individuals to undertake their rehabilitation programme
  • Establishing methods of communication with the people we support, reducing barriers when necessary
  • Supporting with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
  • Communicating any issues to the clinical team
  • Accurately reporting and/or recording work activities
