Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team at YORI in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality and culinary management expertise, ensuring our restaurant operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and high-quality food preparation.
  2. Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food preparation personnel, to maintain productivity and morale.
  3. Implement and enforce food safety protocols to guarantee the health and safety of staff and customers.
  4. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain a fully stocked kitchen.
  5. Train new employees in culinary techniques, hospitality standards, and operational procedures.
  6. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus reflecting current trends and customer preferences.
  7. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction.
  8. Prepare reports on restaurant performance, including sales figures, staff productivity, and customer feedback.

Requirements

  1. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
  2. Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team effectively.
  3. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices within the hospitality industry.
  4. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both staff and customers.
  6. Previous experience in bartending is an advantage but not essential.
  7. A passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
