Assistant Finance Business Partner - Maternity Cover

Location: Gateshead

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience

Hours: 35 hours per week

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our team on a fixed-term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the business to achieve effective financial management, working closely with the Finance Business Partner and budget holders to provide relevant financial information and add value using financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting in preparing the monthly Management Accounts - journals, variance analysis, and reporting.
  2. Completing Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  3. Income reconciliations.
  4. Working closely with budget holders and helping them monitor their financial performance.
  5. Assisting in the year-end process and dealing with audit queries.

Requirements:

  1. Finance experience, possibly studying currently or just finished studying.
  2. Ideally, someone with a charity sector background or experience working in social housing or the care sector.
