Frieze Publishing Ltd. - Contractor Relationship Manager

Frieze is the world's leading platform for modern and contemporary art, dedicated to artists, galleries, collectors, and art lovers alike. Our mission is to unite people in our love of the arts, and we're seeking a skilled Contractor Relationship Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage applications, process, and analysis for galleries participating in the fair
  • Organize and attend selection committee meetings
  • Release application results and coordinate subsequent meetings
  • Support fair floor plan process and release fair layout to exhibitors
  • Coordinate and launch Exhibitor Manual
  • Manage stand plan processing, advising exhibitors on stand-related queries and working closely with the Production team and stand builders
  • Coordinate print and online materials for exhibitors in the lead-up to and during the fair
  • Prepare for the exhibitor onsite experience and maintain high-quality customer service
  • Manage onsite Exhibitor Desk and temporary staff team
  • Coordinate post-fair communication and contribute to post-fair debriefs
Liaison with Other Departments:
  • Manage and develop digital platforms, including Sugar CRM and the Frieze Portal, with the Digital and Data teams
  • Supply information to the Content and Press teams for inclusion in fair promotional materials
  • Proof-read exhibitor sections of fair promotional materials
  • Coordinate all gallery invoicing with the Finance department
  • Support Directors and curators with gallery cultivation, research, travels, and expenses
  • Coordinate production of all curated sections
Requirements:
  • Solid experience working with art galleries and other client-facing development experience
  • Knowledge of the art world
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders
  • Team player, proactive, and enjoys problem-solving
  • Experience delivering complex and ambitious projects
  • Experience handling difficult conversations with clients and colleagues

Please note that international travel is required, and flexibility and longer hours are often necessary.
