Capital Projects Manager Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Projects Manager to join our client, a large Public Sector organisation in the Greater Manchester region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, resources, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and expectations.
  • Liaise with senior management, service users, and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Set up and manage construction contracts.
  • Manage the appointment of consultants and contractors.
  • Manage budget costs associated with capital projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successful delivery of capital projects, preferably within a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of complex integration of engineering and building services involved in planning, design, and implementation of schemes.
  • Health and Safety legislation.
