Principal Capital Project Manager | Permanent | Greater Manchester | £62,215 - £72,293

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Capital Project Manager to join our client's team in the Greater Manchester region. As a key member of the Estates Capital Projects Team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the Trust's Estate Capital Development and Delivery Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement programmes of work to achieve timely and effective delivery
  • Lead and manage external contractors to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Contribute to business planning and management team meetings to drive team performance
  • Monitor and manage contract performance and delivery, including internal staff and contractors
  • Manage day-to-day costs and ensure financial budget compliance

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in a capital-related leadership role, preferably in public buildings or healthcare estates
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and strategic leadership, with a focus on financial budgeting and estates/capital requirements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
