**Job Description**

We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Site Engineer to join our team at Morrison's Spalding site in Lincolnshire. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment to identify and resolve potential issues before they cause disruptions
  • Responding promptly to machinery breakdowns, diagnosing the problem, and performing repairs or coordinating with external specialists when necessary
  • Carrying out machine adjustments and changeovers to support production line efficiency and minimize downtime
  • Monitoring and calibrating equipment to ensure accuracy, quality, and safety standards are met
  • Collaborating with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and providing technical expertise to enhance productivity
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and spare parts inventory
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Morrison's is a leading food retailer serving customers across the UK at just under 500 stores and an online home delivery service. Our 18 manufacturing sites provide our customers with the freshest produce from flowers, fish, and veg to burgers and bread, all delivered to our stores via our 6 distribution sites by our 2,000 strong fleet.
