About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join our team in Swindon. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to young people and families in the Swindon area.

As a Consultant, you will have the opportunity to develop and lead services across the patch, as well as provide medical education and supervision to junior colleagues. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our service users' needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to young people and families in the Swindon area
  • Develop and lead services across the patch
  • Provide medical education and supervision to junior colleagues
  • Work closely with our team to ensure that our service users' needs are met
Requirements
  • Eligibility for Section 12 (Mental Health Act 1983) Approval and Approved Clinician status
  • Eligible for Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Registrar in a psychiatric speciality
  • Higher degree/diploma or equivalent in relevant field of medical or psychological studies
  • Higher specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in approved training post for a minimum of three years and/or previous consultant experience
