About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Leader to join our high-performing finance team at Games Workshop Ltd. As a Group Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving long-term shareholder value while creating a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operational team to deliver exceptional performance and drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement policies and processes to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and technical updates.
  • Establish a robust internal control framework to support business growth and mitigate risks.
  • Provide key strategic information to the leadership team to inform decision-making and drive growth.
  • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts to guide financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the external audit process and work collaboratively with the internal audit team to ensure any issues identified are resolved in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Successful background as a senior finance leader with experience in statutory reporting.
  • Strong technical IFRS knowledge and up-to-date technical skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to talk to a range of different people throughout the business.
  • Ability to challenge and show resilience where required.
