Job Summary
We are seeking an Aseptic Technician to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As an Aseptic Technician, you will be responsible for assembling viral and bacterial antigens into final serials, maintaining accurate inventories of bulk fluids and other components, and performing environmental monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Assemble viral and bacterial antigens into final serials
- Understand and apply excellent aseptic technique as it relates to serial production
- Understand, follow, and complete process documentation in support of GMP
- Maintain accurate inventories of bulk fluids and other components
- Perform environmental monitoring
- Maintain equipment and facilities in proper working order
- Understand and follow safety policies as they relate to biological and chemical components and equipment to protect personnel and maintain product quality
- Assist in preparation of SOPs and validation of procedures
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Preference given to applicants with relevant experience in biological production and/or aseptic manufacturing
- Two years post-secondary education with biological coursework desirable
Working Conditions
Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, biohazards, continuous standing and lifting to a maximum of 50 lbs. Weekend and holiday work may be required.
