Excavator and Wheeled Loading Shovel Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Excavator and Wheeled Loading Shovel Driver to join our team at The NWH Group's Leith depot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of safety across the site.
  • Load material into various vehicles.
  • Pre-sort waste.
  • Perform daily safety, greasing, and maintenance checks and document as per company procedures.
  • Check and re-fill fuel and oil daily.
  • Communicate effectively with other vehicle operators to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Load plant at the optimal rate.
  • Ensure machinery and cabins are locked at the end of shifts.
  • Complete any other reasonable tasks or requests as required.
  • Report breakdowns to the line manager in accordance with the site escalation process.

Requirements:

  • A valid CPCS.
  • Demolition grab experience.
  • A wheeled loading shovel ticket.
  • A positive attitude.
  • A team player.
  • A great communicator.
