Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care and supporting individuals to achieve their goals and independence.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to promote patient recovery and rehabilitation.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care.

Person Specification- Current registration with the Health Professions Council (HPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work at weekends and flexible hours, as required.
- Access to a car for community-based work, if possible.
