CORPUS CHRISTI CATHOLIC ACADEMY TRUST is a rapidly expanding educational institution seeking an experienced HR Manager to provide professional HR advisory services and operational support.

About the Role

We are offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an HR professional to join our team. As HR Manager, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on HR matters, managing employee relations cases, supporting recruitment processes, and contributing to other HR activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation and good practice.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and capability/performance issues.
  • Support the recruitment process, advising on best practices and improving processes.
  • Contribute to other HR activities, such as completing statutory returns, attending training events, and participating in ad-hoc project work.

Requirements

  • A good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards it.
  • Experience in HR, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with teachers' and support staff terms and conditions.
  • An understanding of relevant policy, procedure, employment law, and good practice in relation to HR in schools.

  • A competitive salary of approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
