Job Summary

NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and developing our Quality Management system, ensuring our products and services are safe and meet the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining and developing the Quality Assurance function of the site.
  • Develop relationships with external organizations, including external regulators, to ensure compliance with external requirements.
  • Produce reports and lead quality review meetings with department managers.
  • Participate in Operational Improvement events using LEAN principles and projects or workshops to identify areas for improvement.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in quality management, auditing, and compliance. You will have a Master's level qualification or equivalent relevant experience and a basic management qualification or short courses in line management. You will also have experience working with information technology using Microsoft Office packages.

You will be a consummate professional who can build strong relationships and ask the right questions while keeping an objective view of the work. You will be able to work effectively in a team environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer
  • A starting salary of £46,148 - £52,809 per annum in accordance with AfC.
  • Three full-time opportunities to join as a Band 7, and progress with NHSBT.
  • Opportunity to work with a national organization and be based in Birmingham, Bristol, or Barnsley.
