Cleaner and Facilities Assistant

We are looking for a skilled Cleaner and Facilities Assistant to join our team at a SEMH secondary school in Ledbury.

This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 2pm - 5pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the school.

This includes daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and dusting, as well as sanitizing high-touch areas. You will also be responsible for reporting any cleaning supply needs or maintenance issues to the site manager.

As a key member of our facilities team, you will work closely with the school's staff to ensure a positive and healthy environment for students.

To be successful in this role, you will require previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role (although not essential), as well as a friendly and flexible approach.

A strong understanding of safeguarding policies is also necessary (training will be provided).

In return, you can expect a competitive salary of £18,500 - £21,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with regular support and guidance from the school team and leadership.
