Housekeeper/Cleaner Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to maintain a clean and welcoming environment in our SEMH secondary school in Ledbury.

This is a 30-hour workweek from Monday to Friday, 2pm - 5pm. As a Housekeeper/Cleaner, you will be responsible for carrying out daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch areas.

You will assist in maintaining hygiene standards across the school in line with health and safety requirements. This includes reporting any cleaning supply needs or maintenance issues to the site manager.

You will work collaboratively with the school's staff to support a positive and healthy environment for students. Following the cleaning schedule is essential to ensure all areas of the school are consistently well-maintained.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role (preferred but not essential). A friendly and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, is required.

An understanding of safeguarding policies (training will be provided) is also necessary.

In return, you can expect a competitive salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with regular support and guidance from the school team and leadership.
