About the Role

Parkside Recruitment is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Oxford team. This hybrid role involves collaborating with colleagues in Oxford, London, and Cambridge.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced electrical engineer to design efficient electrical systems, oversee on-site work, and manage installations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical design software, AutoCAD, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct feasibility studies and surveys for electrical projects.
  • Design electrical systems and create project specifications using industry-standard software.
  • Manage on-site electrical installations and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Handle contract administration and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in building services design, preferably in the UK market.
  • Proven track record of managing and mentoring team members.
  • Strong proficiency in electrical design software, including AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Owning transport and a valid driving license.
