We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie/Pizza Chef to join our team at Peaks & Dales Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work in a small company that champions local produce, especially cheeses.

As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing your section, preparing and serving our menu to a high standard. You will also be expected to continuously enhance your knowledge of our products and company ethos.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and service of menu items to a high standard
  • Maintenance of the highest food hygiene and Health & Safety standards within the business
  • Enhancement of knowledge of products and company ethos

This restaurant will pride itself on using local produce, especially local cheeses, in their dishes, while also offering wood-fired pizzas and excellent wine. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude and a thirst for knowledge and have a great passion for food & local produce.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Pizza-making experience desired
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a kitchen
  • Awareness of British cheese, with an interest to learn and develop a deeper understanding
  • Understanding of seasonality and British produce
  • Excellent work ethic, organisation and communication skills
  • Positive, approachable and humble
