Grant Funding Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Grant Funding Specialist to join our team at Leonid Group Ltd. As a key member of our Grant Funding team, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting high-quality end-to-end proposal development and bid process activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the development of high-quality grant proposals, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their research and development projects, and assess their eligibility for grant funding.
- Develop and write compelling technical and commercial content to showcase the key aspects of client projects and inform grant proposals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest grant funding opportunities and guidelines, and develop a deep understanding of the grant landscape.
- Work closely with our business development team to identify and pursue new grant funding opportunities.
- Review and edit written work across the organization to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Assist in creating and implementing reporting and proposal writing templates and tools to streamline grant writing projects.
- Collaborate with our marketing and communications team to develop engaging and informative content.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in a technical subject area.
- Proven experience in writing grant proposals and a deep understanding of grant funding opportunities.
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational skills, including multi-tasking, prioritizing, planning, and effective time management.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with technical professionals and build strong relationships with clients.
- Strong attention to detail and first-time accuracy is essential.
- Aptitude for dealing with technological challenges faced by industry professionals.
- Project management skills and client relationship-building abilities.
- Comfortable working in a close team environment.
- Creative thinker, independent worker, and a self-starter.
- English fluency required.
