At Streamline Search, we are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Operations Director to oversee all aspects of production in our client's dynamic manufacturing environment. As a key member of the team, you will lead a skilled team of engineers, technicians, and fabricators to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a full-time position, working hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.

The Salary:

  • $40,000 - $45,000 DOE

Fabrication Operations Director Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage production activities to ensure smooth workflows and timely project completion.
  • Lead and nurture the production team to promote collaboration and high performance.
  • Efficiently allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to optimise production.
  • Ensure that all products meet quality standards through thorough inspection and testing.
  • Manage production budgets to ensure cost-effective operations without sacrificing quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and project management teams for seamless communication.
  • Proactively address and resolve production challenges as they arise.
  • Keep accurate records of production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Fabrication Operations Director Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing or production, within a managerial capacity.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical engineering and fabrication processes.
  • Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication and/or welding processes.
