Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and caring Care Companion to join our team in St Albans and surrounding areas. As a Care Companion, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing, ensuring our clients' physical and emotional needs are met.
- Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations, play games, and build relationships with our clients, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, promoting a clutter-free space and a clutter-free mind.
- Medication Management: Ensure our clients take their medication as prescribed, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals for our clients, promoting healthy eating habits and a positive relationship with food.
Requirements
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
- A compassionate and caring nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits
- Competitive rates of pay, ranging from £13.75-£14.75 per hour.
- No previous experience required, as comprehensive training and development opportunities are provided.
- Mileage allowance of 45p per mile, paid travel time between clients, and double pay on bank holidays.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as a supportive and friendly office team.
