About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our Geo team, you will be responsible for delivering geo-environmental consultancy services and undertaking a diverse range of projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and supervise ground investigation on site, including groundwater and ground gas monitoring.
  • Interpret data and produce Phase 1 geo-environmental desktop study reports incorporating preliminary risk assessment and Phase 2 interpretative reports including qualitative and quantitative risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with geo-environmental teams in other offices and with other specialists in the planning, environment, and engineering teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in geology, engineering geology, hydrogeology, or a relevant environmental science discipline.
  • Have postgraduate industry experience and be working towards Chartership with a relevant body.
  • Have experience of current contaminated land technical guidance and the development planning regime.
  • Be knowledgeable in current practice and governing standards/guidance for the investigation and remediation of contaminated land.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be fully IT literate.
  • Hold a full, preferably clean, driving license.
